Using a router with ADSL....?

If I already have a modem with ADSL, can I fit a standard B/Band Router onto the modem out socket to connect multiple computers together.

Many thanks for any help.

your adsl modem will be usb / it's far easier to get an adsl router, as long as your PC has an Ethernet connector. Netgear DG834 adsl router + Firewall is a good example, easy self setup.

Thanks for ur reply Flying G..

As the ADSL line is in Cyprus I'm not sure if it is USB connected or not, but I seem to think from the last time I was there it was Ethernet.

If it is already Ethernet connected can I then use a standard router...?

Many thanks.
