Using a PC overseas

Are there any restrictions on using and updating a Uk registered copy of XP outside the UK for a protracted period? The area will be on the fringes of Europe and the OS (XP Home) is installed on a laptop. The period is in excess of a year - possibly two.

This has probably been answered before, but having searched the forums I can find no reference.

Any advice/information would be appreciated. Many thanks in anticipation.

It makes no difference where you use a legal copy. Many people who've moved here (Spain) bring systems with them - no issues at all.

Thanks very much for the information. It is just what I`d hoped. So now it`s simply(?) sorting out an ISP!!!

If it's for Spain I can give you a few pointers - not if it's not!

Thanks for the offer, but it`s not Spain.
