A friend of mine is trying to use Outlook Express to receive and send e-mail via a account. In Outlook the incomming mailis set to which works, but the outgoing mail is giving problems with the server address as Is this correct and is there anyone who can help sort this out?

you need to ensure in the outgoing mail section the 'server requires authentication' is ticked; else it will not work::))

As I am also using BT Yahoo as my Email program would there be any advantage in switching to Outlook Express?
