Using Nero to create VCD

  Jason-284828 09:04 25 Nov 03

I'm using Nero express to turn a AVI file into a VCD to play on my DVD player.

Everything goes fine it encodes it and then writes to the CD, the problem is when I watch it the picture is upside down and back to front. As I don't want to turn my TV upside down everytime I want to watch it, has anyone any ideas what caused it and how to fix it.

I'm using XP Home with 512MB DDR ram.

and no I'm not going to turn the TV upside down!!

Or you could take up yoga.

Does it happen with all avi to mpeg burns, and what player are you viewing? It may be a DivX or WMP issue.

Yoga is a no no as I won't look good in a leotard.

The problem occurs if I view it on my DVD player or on Media Player, Divx player etc on my laptop.

I'm using nero 5.5 something, I've only ever tried to do it once before but that was an Mpeg file to VCD and that worked.

Maybe I'll use cyberlink's power director pro to turn it into a mpeg file and try that.
