Hi, im currently using my friend's router who lives 2 doors away, im using a 50 meter ethernet cable plugged into his Orange Livebox, he claims that the head of I.T at his work has told him how to see what im doing when i surf, is this possible please?

I am not an expert, but I do know many strange things are possible in the world of computing - but I doubt very much whether this is one of those.

Also - being Head of IT, does not necessarily mean that the guy is an expert to that extent.

is in contravention of your friend's agreement with his ISP - they don't permit the sharing of broadband connections in this way.

Your friend isn't able to see what you're up to when you are online via his router, but he'll know if you are downloading large file quantities, and so will his ISP.

I think there is Software to do it

I think there is Software to do it.

PS it will be able to see where you go but not what you are doing
