Using a laptop in turkey

I'm going to Istanbul later this week and wish to take my laptop PC with me. I checked the voltage for Turkey and it would seem to be 220V aas opposed to 230v in the UK. Do I need some sort of special adaptor to take my laptop and to get it work and does anyone know the type of plug used there. Would I be better off waiting till I got there and then buying a cable or what.

the type of plug is the european type ie 2pin typical of german design, you can use any adapter available in the uk that can take your 13 amp 3 pin plug.Although the voltage is quoted at 220 it could be less but shouldnt affect your lap top, the frequency is 50hz which is standard all over europe.
