using IE when aol is default ISP

I have aol broadband but would also like to use some of the facilities of IE. Can I do this and if so how do I access IE without losing aol?

I have got AOL Broadband also, and I very rarely use their "browser" to open the internet connection or to use as a browser..

I just click onto the BB modem in the "Connect to" option in the Start Menu and type in my "screenname" with at the end and then type in my password and press "dial" and then just use IE... AN example of what I type in would be "[email protected]" for the "username"...

Just open and use it as you wish - you won't lose AOL. I have AOL set as my default connection and use IE mostly just for windows updates, but AOL is always there still when I close IE. :o)
