I have just joined BT broadband. Part of the package is free phone calls for a year, using BT Yahoo and headphones with microphone.
The numbers dial out perfectly and people pick it up, only problem is they can't hear me !!
Do I have to have a special sound card ? I have a 4 ch PCI sound card
Thanks
Sue

Hi, any soundcard with a microphone socket should do the job. Make sure you have the mic in the correct socket. Cheers.

Check the mike is not muted or the volume down: Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, Volume control (or similar!).
