On my laptop, System restore has been turned off by group policy.

If someone has the time, could they please provide guidance to take me to the appropriate place in the group policy window so that I can turn system restore on.

Thanks

Followed all the instructions, but no joy at the end. During the process a services window popped up saying system restore had started then stopped. This is after clicking on the start bit in the instructions.

Have used a information on the microsoft website and now system restore appears in my start menu, but not under my computer/properties.

However, clicking on the system restore icon in the start menu results in being told system restore has been turned off in group policy (even though I've followed earlier instructions to turn it on in group policy!).

I should appreciate any thoughts please.
