using "ghost " in xp

hi,i want to clone my c drive to d drive using "ghost",in win xp home,i go to "command prompt",i put the floppy "ghost floppy" in the drive. "question" what do i type please .

Try restarting the PC with the Ghost floppy in the drive....

not quite sure what u are trying to do :but if u want to clone C to D you can do this by opening the ghost program anduse the clone tool.

sinbad1, i was lead to beleve that the correct way to use ghost was from a floppy disk. thats what im trying to do ??????????

In XP, use Ghost software from the programmes menu, as with any normal programme.

You may well finish up booting from your floppy (who said floppies were useless) , it will depend on which version of Ghost you are using and which version you used to make your Ghost image.

I've had to do it using both 2002/3 v of Ghost and the new version and it's 'good fun' first time round!!
