user names and log in

i have typed a user name on my hotmail account now every time i visit the hotmail main page my user name appears in the email address part of the log in form. how to i permantly delete this.
i have used the autocomplete funtion but still everytime i visit the hotmail homepage there it is it just wont go away can anyone help.

Try deleting cookies - that is the only other place it will be stored I think.

i havent got a delete cookies tab...
where else can i find to delete cookies

Tools/Internet Options, when IE is open, or Start/Control Panel/Internet Options/General. Note however that if you delete cookies, you will need to re-enter passwords when you first visit your favourite websites, so save them all first.

Close IE. Go to Control Panel, Internet Options, under the General tab, there's a Delete Cookies button. This deletes all cookies.

If you want to delete cookies selectively, you can go to C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Cookies folder, and you see text files with names such as [your user name] @ website .com

Delete the cookies with hotmail, msn or passport in the name.
