usb/sound not reading?!?!

Hey im am so close with the computer i am building but I have 1 more question. The Usb and the sound card that are built in the motherboard arn't reading. Any Ideas?

The usb and sound may both need to be enabled in the bios. Good luck with your build.

Have you loaded the drivers for them from the Motherboard driver CD?

Ive just rebuilt a system and found that i also had no sound,changed the speakers and all was well.
Usb,have you tried a reinstallation via device manager ? Unistall all usb headings and reboot,xp should at least load the generic drivers.

Did you check Technotiger's suggestion of enabling in the bios?
