I am having problems with a USB2 card which I have recently installed into my computer. The card is a belkin 4 port pci card. The drivers from the belkin web site have been installed and windows xp has detected the card. The device manager shows the card and hub seperately from USB 1.1. When an external hard drive or an mp3 player are plugged into the card they are detected, and autoplay starts, but as soon as the window to select how to access the device opens the system freezes and I have to reboot. Has anyone came across this problem before, some help would be appreciated.

Perhaps the card needs to be removed and re-seated, it might be very slightly out of position. And/or check that when fitting the card you did not slightly dislodge any other item, cables etc inside your case.
