What operating system are you using ?

Hi, yes, you should be able to insert a PCI USB2 card, not a lot of difference in makes, I would get one with at least 4 USB ports. Make sure it is USB2.

Cheers

Belatucadrus,Fruit Bat /\0/\, Technotiger,

SORRY guys, I should have mentioned my OS - XP Pro.

Thanks for all the info. Yes, I will check & make sure when I purchase that I do get USB2. Are they USB1.1 & USB2, identical in appearance? I have an USB1.1 HUB but now it's not working. I have also noticed that some peripherals don't like HUBS. So I'd rather get the Card

Make sure what you want to plug into it will work OK. I have a HDD that works on my USB1.1 but not on USB2 card

Regarding the appearance, yes they look absolutely identical.
