USB WiFi adaptor 54Mbps

Has anyone any experience of using a USB WiFi adaptor on 802.11g standard ADSL broadband at 54Mbps on a desktop PC?

I could install a PCI card but the USB would be more convenient.

I use a Netgear DG834G with a WG311T PCI Card on one computer and WG121 USB adapter on another. The system was a breeze to set up, and there is no discernible difference in wireless speeds on either on my computers. My system has Norton Internet Security and this hasn't caused any problems either in set up or use.
