USB Radio Dongle (unbranded)

A mate gave me one of these to investigate to see what it is and what it does.

I've found it to be a bluetooth usb radio. Plug it in and a light flashes, Windows Vista finds it, installs the bluetooth driver side of it, then tries to find some software for the radio but fails.

It seems to be a sample or a "promotional" item - I can only find one image of it on Google and it's supplied by Chinatraderonline.

Anyone any ideas how to use it? Does it plug into a car radio usb or a PC USB? Do you find a radio station through software and listen to it via the PC speakers?

Basically I wondered what use it was in this age of free online radio; is it virtually obsolete?
Thanks in advance

Yes, thanks Lazarus The 2nd for your links.

I've already found out about bluetooth devices, how to install them, what they do etc, was more after specific software to enable the features of this little dongle.

I'll close the thread due to lack of response but if anyone wants to add to it with any specifics, please do.

Cheers
