USB Printer vs USB Wireless Adapter Problem

I'm a newbie in wireless area. Anyway, last week I bought USB Wireless Adapter and plug in to my computer. Everything goes well until I plug in my USB printer. Connection to the Internet will automatically disconnected. When I unplug / shut down my printer the connection will be okay. What is the cause and how to solve this problem? Anyone can assist?

Just out of interest, how many USB ports does your computer have, and what else is plugged into them (if anything?)

There are 2 USB Ports (next to each other) and one USB is connected to the Printer whereas the other is not connected to anything.

Since I have the USB Wireless Adapter, both of the USB Ports are fully occupied i.e. One is attached to the printer and the other one is attached for the Wireless Adapter.

Have you checked for any hardware conflicts? To do this, go to Start - Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager.

Have a look at the USB ports on the Device Manager and see if there are any yellow question marks next to them.

Upon checking, there are 3 network adapters listed i.e. Wireless LAN Adaper, NIC1 and NIC2. Noted the NIC2 was disabled.

I've enabled it and I attached both USB Printer and Wireless Adapter at one time. The result? I could print while I surf the Net.

I guess..this solve my problem.

TQ a bunch ;)
