usb ports power

hi ,why dose my 2 front usb ports not let me open SOME (not all) of my flash drives,it seems like the 4 on the back have more power ????

Try going to device manager and right click all usb root hubs, one at a time, and right click, properties and on power management untick the box to Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

thanks for your help,cant see any problems there, as isaid the 2 front ports ARE working,but not with all devices

Quite often the front ports are from a header while the rear are direct off the board

front two ports share power while rear have full power to each port.
