Hello

I am running windows xp on a hp notebook together with a gps system. All was well for the first few months, then I had lots of xp troubles including unable to find antenna, crahing, freezing etc etc. Re-installed from scratch xp and usb still cannot find antenna. It also seems to have lost the driver for the antenna. Any ideas at all please.
The antenna is okay as I have had it tested and the usb ports are okay on things like printers & camera downloads but the antenna does not wish to know. If I try a dozen times it might work once for 2 minutes and then no more.

Thanks

MAybe a power problem Usb ports can only supply 500mA.

Tryy in a powered Hub or without the printer scanner plugged in.

Now I am really stuck. The usb ports do have power as well.
