I am considering buying a new printer which only connects through a USB port. My PC however only accepts Parallel. Can I buy a convertor and if so where from.

Can you fit a USB card instead. Might be better than a convertor, as cheap as £20 and you'll be able to plug in all sorts of USB devices.

You can buy USB cards very cheaply from places like Scan click here but, it depends on which version of Windows you have whether they will work or not. If, as you say, your computer is not fitted with USB it suggests that it is rather old. Which operating system do you have?
