USB not working.

Hi, Due to many many faults I choose to re-install Windows XP.
Most things are working but my USB ports are not working.
I have checked the device manager for my five USB ports and it says,

'Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)'

Can I download the drivers for my USB ports? Or is there another way I can remedy this?
Unfortunately I lost my original device driver CD when moving home, so that's a non starter.
