USB MP3 palyer- "not recognised"

  Mr. Chips 09:33 30 May 04

I have a "Ministry of Sound" MP3 player which works well .... except ...
The PC will connect the USB connection properly the first time it is plugged in after a re-boot, but afterwards the PC says it is "an unrecognisable USB device" and won't connect it.

Is that odd, or not?

Any ideas please?

What is your Operating System XP or 98?

Sorry -- XP Home with service pack

Have you installed the correct driver. Did you get a disk with your MP3 player?

I have re-installed the driver which came with the device.
I have looked for an upgrade driver on the web ... but there doesn't seem to be one.
