Have a 9 pin USB header on my motherbard currently feeding 2 USB sockets on the front panel, have just purchased an internal card reader that also requires connect to the header. Can anyone advise if a splitter is available so that I can connect both the USB sockets and card reader at the same time. Have searched on Google without any luck.

You will overpower the USB. Have a look in manual for another USB header

You could buy a PCI USB card with a internal header on the card

You could remove one of the front panel USB connections, and put the card reader on the other.
