USB Flash drive - driver needed for WinME

Hi All,
I'm trying to get a flash drive to work on an old "ME" laptop. Does anyone have a driver?

The flash drive is a generic give-away, so I don't know the source

Any use?

A usb flash drive should work with ME without any drivers.

Have you plugged it in then looked at My Computer for an extra drive?

Many thanks.

Freecell, I have already tried the one, but thanks anyway.

Ton, yes I have. I then opened Device Manager and saw the USB drive there with the yellow exclamation mark indicating it needed new drivers.

I think I'll just keep trying looking for drivers on the net.

Open device manager and delete all the usb parts.

Then restart the PC and they will be restored.

Do this with the flash drive NOT plugged in.

I repeat what I said before "A usb flash drive should work with ME without any drivers ".
