USB Drive Letters

I have an external Drive USB connected with the drive letter of "K".

Having run out of USB slots I need to add a USB 4-way port.

To do this I shall probably use the USB slot allocated to my DVD Drive with is "I".

However owing to the amount of material already on my "K" drive and the number of programs with files linked to this drive, is there any way I can force this to remain as the "K" Drive. It is a western Digital USB 160GB external drive.

Why not buy a USB 2.0 PCI card?

My Sunix card cost just over £11 and provides four external and one internal port.

If you need any more USB ports, just add a four or seven way port hub to one of the PCI card's USB ports.
