Hi all,
I now have 2 v1 USB sockets. (Never used USB b4)
Does anyone know if I can run my Lexmark 5700 & Agfa 1236s scanner via USB please, & if it would be advantageous ?
many thanks for reading this

If the device has a USB socket, cable and software the answer is YES. If either lacks a socket, then there is no easy way.

Diemmess: Thanks. Neither item has USB outlets,,, but I keep seeing cables &/or adaptors for 'Serial to USB' etc etc, & wondered it would be worth my going further.
Obviously, future products will be thought more about,,, but in the meantime,,, who knows ????
thanks again

I know the feeling. As you guessed, making the connection is going to have a cost with little benefit, except where you are running out of orifices!

Unless forced, much better to stay with what you have in this case.
