I've got a Scientific Atlanta DPX100 USB Modem with Blueyonder Broadband. Windows 98 SE won't reconise the drivers on the modem's CD.

Do you have drivers installed for the USB ports ?
Does Windows recognise the hardware when connected ? (Does the Add New Hardware Wizard Appear)

Only things I can think of

Have you been to the manufacturers website to look for 98 speific drivers?

98 and 98se will recognise USB and therefore a USB modem. It just might be that the driver you have for the modem is XP specific. As soy as said, have you checked the driver and the website? j.
