hey there, I was looking through the threads for usb networking and I didn't see any for USB 2.0 so i was wondering, is it possible to connect 2 computers together via a usb 2.0 cable connection? and if so, what will that need (software, etc...)
thanx.

I've not seen one either - but why would you want to use USB for networking? Even the people at usb.org advise against it - see click here

A USB2.0 network will be super quick - data transfer at 480mbs. Can't be bad. Hope you get it to work!! Let us know.

yeah ok i see that there are some disadvantages, but I only wanted to make a small network. plus sine the transfer rate of U.S.B. 2.0 was faster than firewire, (not to mention a standard 4 ports in every computer) I thought it would be better than a normal LAN
