Hi.

Just a query. I have 4 USB sockets on the pc. 2 on the motherboard and 2 on a PCI card which came when I bought the pc. These are USB1 Do I leave these 'as is' and connect a new USB2 PCI card OR should I remove the USB 1 card.

Just confused as to what to do.

TIA

there is no need to remove the usb1 card in terms of any conflicts etc. but its just a question of wether you need all the sockets ,you can plug the old usb 1.1 devices into the usb 2 sockets so you might as well take the old card out and flog it freeing up a pci slot for something else.
