I have lost a VERY important E mail.

I wrote it this morning and sent it I am sure, but it has vanished from OE6 sent folder

I looked in my ISP (NTL) webmail hoping I might find a copy there but to no avail.

This is really urgent and important any help please?
Best,
Charles

Expand the Local Folders and look in Drafts...

Nope I have looked in all my folders.

I thought I should be able to see this in my ISP "Outbox" on the web ? Is this NOT the case.?

Can the FE help please?

If it was sent it'll be in the Sent Items.

If not it wasn't sent.

Check with the recipient - if they haven't got it, it wasn't sent.

Just send another email to the recipient, and ask them if they have received it yet. The content will probably be shown in their reply.

What happened was that of some unknown reason, t the Email had been deleted out of the sent folder, and therefore there was no record of it having been composed either.

Fortunately, it went to a friend in Europe who replied by phone. It was an e-mail with some unique images on. And of vital importance.

I was under the illusion that you could look in your post box with your ISP, and see what you had sent, and what was your inbox.
Many thanks for your thoughts.
Cheers,
Charles

Even if the e-mail had disappeared the images would be on your pc so you could resend them anyway...
