URGENT: Acidental Format! Need recovery.

I was just using gParted to switch one of my partitions to master, when I clicked several things accidentally.
I know I should have backups, and I had a seperate partition for that.
However, now I've lost everything, and the BIOS cannot find a boot device.
Suggestions please, I have so much data on there, its unbelievable!
And, hurry. Please!

Thanks for the fast reply.
I'd like to point out that my entire harddrive is now unallocated space.
Totally formatted.

Sorry meant to say;

Remove the drive and place in a caddy or as slave in another computer and run Testdisk to reclaim the data.
I believe you can rebuild your partitions, but not used Testdisk myself for that.

Great minds Hey Lol :-)

Zopah
I doubt you will recover much if you have formatted.By you can still try Testdisk...but do NOT carry on writing to the drive.

Oh my lord.
You guys just saved my career, I think.
Thank you so much.
Thats the last time I try to do that again. =)

Glad to see it worked. All things should be as easy
