I am thinking of upgrading from 98SE to XP. I have run the Microsoft compatibilty utility and, apart from a couple of minor points am ready to go. The main reason for upgrading is so that I can use larger files when editing digital video. Can anybody please tell me if I will need to update my BIOS (Award 4.51PG 10/01/99) to be able to use the larger file sizes. Thanks in advance.

make sure u convert the HDD format to NTFS, so that u can work with larger file size.
Theres no need to update bios unless if you experience problems after installing XP.
