Upgrading to Thunderbird 2 Concern

  terrym 22:25 30 Aug 07

I have upgraded my browser to Firefox version, and downloaded the update for email with Thunderbird 2 but not yet installed it as I am concerned that it will overwrite the previous version and in the process delete all my address book content.
Will I loose all my email addresses or will it retain the email address listings?

I have used Mozbackup to backup the older Thunderbird version. Will I need this to reinsert the missing address book content?
Thanks in Advance

It won't delete anything, all your emails, Address book, Add-ons and themes are kept in a different folder so they won't be touch by the upgrade, anyway you have backed everything up so you'll be able to reinstall you settings OK.
