Upgrading a Graphics Card

I'm about to go from a geforce2 to a geforce4 card.Can someone tell me what i need to do to get all the old drivers and other info off my system before upgrading

remove drivers in add remove programs,then install the new drivers.if not listed nin add remove programs click start/mycomputer/controlpanel/system/devicemanager and uninstall from here.instead of installing the drivers from the cd that came with your card visit the card makers website and install from here and you will more than likley get the latest drivers.

What are you getting - I want to go from a TNT2 to a Geforce 4- should I go to a Ti4200 or would I be happy with a MX420 for a third of the price?

or should I start a new thread?

if you can afford it go for the Ti4200.
The mx will not show a lot of benefits, compared to your gf2, whereas the Ti4200, will show an amazing difference.
