I have moved from XP to Windows 7 and find that my FileMaker pro version 4 doesn't work any more. It has been a useful database but it would be expensive to buy the latest version 11. Could anyone suggest new database softwarespace instead? Or can I import the FP3 filesfrom FileMaker into office 2010?

have you tried compatibility mode to install the prog in w7. If you have not tried this first uninstall the prog then reboot and get compatibility mode running [type compatibility mode into the box by the start menu] this installed several of my old win95 progs. By the way I could not get them running even with compatibility mode on w7 64 bit.
