I have just upgraded my pc with an ASUS A7V8X-X motherboard and GE FORCE 4 video card plus a new box and power supply. But the pc will not automatically restart no matter how I try.
Can anyone help please

Hard drives seems to work ok. In fact all the programs loaded and work ok. It is just this restarting that is a problem

go into your bios and check your Power setup/configuration

also if your using xp try going to control panel/system/advanced/the bottom window says "startup recovery"/ settings/system failure/and check that auto restart is ticked.

could it be the wiring on the switch,i know from experience that the several wires are easy to get wrong.pull them all off then re fit them.also do the wires on the new mobo match the old one for colour and function or could they look the same but do different functions?
