I have a laptop that runs Vista and am considering upgrading it to Win 7. The only thing that puts me off is the potentially hundreds ( well a lot anyway ! ) of Windows Updates that I will have to install as part of the process. Is there an easy way of doing this such as a collection of all updates in one file that I can install or is this me just fantasizing ?

The upgrade disc will already have SP1 on it, so I'd just update a few at a time until up to date.
