Nintendo Switch review: Hands-on with the intuitive modular console and its disappointing games…
My current pc is about 5/6 years old and I am looking to upgrade a few parts. I'm looking to get a faster processor and more Ram. I have included my spec below but was wondering what the highest speed processor was that i could add and how much extra ram the motherboard can handle.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
The only reaon why i was looking to upgrade the processor is beacuse when i run Arcsoft total media, the picture often freezes or stutters. Would adding more Ram resolve that issue to?
It looks as though you haven't got a separate graphics card - it might help to put one in, there are still some around for the AGP interface. At the moment (if you haven't got a separate graphics card) Windows is sharing a smallish amount of Ram with the graphics subsystem.
my mobo has a AGP graphics connection, is there a way i can install PCI Express connections on my mobo or will i have to stick to upgrading my mobo??
thought it might be worth a try?
filthyphil - not possible unfortunately.
Kate - Although it doesn't mention it above i believe i have NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 3D Accelerator graphics card which as far as i know is up to the job. I have just e-mailed their tech support line and they have said my processor needs to be above 2GHz for the programme to run smoothly, so i think i'll look at upgrading that plus adding some extra Ram to speed things up.
