Upgrade to GF4, worth it?

I currently have a GF3 64MB DDR and was thinking of updating to a GF4 128MB DDR, would I notice a massive difference?

I was tempted with the ATI 9700 but I am buying the card from the computer exchange and will be trading things in against it, can't afford the card outright...

As always, it dpends what you do with your PC, and what the general spec of the PC is.

With a fast processor, and if you play games - then you might well see a difference.

With a slow processor, or if you only do mundane things, then you'll see no difference at all.

Depends on which GF3 you have and which GF4 your going to, just tried it on mine swapped GF3 ti200 fo GF4 MX420 performance dropped by 3000 according to 3dmark 2000, swapped em back pretty quick

Have an XP1900 with 512mb and 266fsb (pretty fast!)

Play games LOTS and after playing asherons call found I could not play on the high graphics setting as it would chug along too slowly...

Thought the GF4 (titanium 4600, 128MB DDR is the one I will go for) will laugh at this and give a much better performance?
