Hi All
Having upgraded a friends computer to windows xp pro from windows 2000pro everything worked great until i tried to connect to the internet. The v21 dialer had no device in the device box and when i tried to connect it came up with the error "unable to create the phonebook entry" I have tried to make a new connection with the connection wizard as there are no connections already there but when i get to the screen which gives me the choices of 3 :-
1/Connect using a dialup modem
2/connect using a broadband connection
3/Connect using a broadband connection that is always on.

The first to are greyed out and i want to make a dialup connection, has anybody got any ideas as i am totally stumped.

Thanks in advance

You may have a RAS connection (2000pro for company use) disable this first to get back your greyed out options/
