Updating excel file on intranet

I need to put an excel file on our company intranet and allow users to update and save this file. The file is kept on the server and that seems to be my problem. I want the file to automatically save in the same place, but the option is Save As. I don't really want to have to tell all the users the path required. Is there a way to automate this?

Most of the users will be using Excel 97 or later.
