Unwanted Windows Login Box

Recently formatted an ancient machine and re-installed windows '95.

All seems well, except that when we connect to Outlook Express (5) we get a Windows Login box asking us to enter our windows user name and pass word.
Click on "cancel" and it goes away and appears to have no further effect.

I cannot understand why it crops up then and not at boot up.

This is an irritation rather than a problem, but would be grateful if anyone could tell me how to get rid of it.

Regards to all

You need to change the logon from network to windows family. I cannot remember how to get there in windows 95 but it will be in the control panel somewhere under intrenet connections
