Unwanted Password Request

  PAE 14:36 06 Apr 09

For some reason this morning I was asked for a password in order to get into my PC. I have never put a password on it. Eventually I managed to create another user and get into my system and create a password for the original user to obtain access to my e-mails. What I now need to do is remove the requirement for a password on that user; so that other members of my family will have easy access to the PC. I have tried System Restore to no effect. Thanks

Control Panel> User Account> Change Password> Leave it blank

Ok that has fixed it. It appears that I had picked up a rouge mshta.exe file somewhere; at least there were copies outside of 'system32'

Thanks for the help
