Unwanted Emails

  Grumpy Grandad 16:35 05 Jun 06

There is an unnamed American group promoting share sales, that send me unwanted Emails daily, recommending that I buy various shares. I cannot block them, as each Email appears under a different person's name, with an innocuous subject, the latest is "brainchild" from Jerry Bauer. I do not want to reply to any individual Email and find myself inundated with rubbish. Any help please?

Mailwasher or Delete Key dont reply or bounce the mails as this only confirms that your address is active.Get Mqailwasher from

I get 10 - 20 daily offering viagra or penile extensions - some off them aren't even from my wife :)

Seriously though if your isp offers web mail log on to that - there is normally an option to turn on spam filtering which should get rid of most of them

Thanks lads,
I will try your options, but as these Emails have very ordinary sender names with really innocent sounding subject information, I wonder how the spam filters will sort them out.
