I dont particulaly want to change my email address but if thats the best way i will. It all started after having to post my email address on a forum i wanted to join, now i get flooded with nasty emails. lesson learnt.

What ISP are you with? Some are better than others at preventing spam, and AOL (for instance) has a 'report spam' facility which seems to reduce the amount of spam if you keep using the facility when you do get spam.

If your ISP doesn't have a spam-blocking service, you can use software such as Mailwasher. But there are mixed views about whether it's worth it, because you still have to review what it thinks is spam to make sure it's not about to block an email that you want to receive.

I use Yahoo as a mail server, and set the spam level to the highest (delete automatically any mails resembling spam) it works a treat.

Use mailwasher , you can view your emails before they get to your inbox and delete what you don't want and process the ones you do want to your inbox. Get it here click here
