Hi All

I have just loaded windows 2000 pro on my old PC for some reason when I press shutdown a message tells me its safe to turn of my computer.

How do I stop this and just make a normal windows shutdown so it turns off by itself.?

Cheers

Go to control panel click on system then device manager click on view then show hidden devices
and see if NT APM/LEGACY SUPPORT is enabled if not click on it and enable it.
Also go to event log and check your not showing
ACPI ERRORS.
