unknown error

When I try to move/copy files or send items to the recycle bin, I keep getting the message "Explorer has caused an error in unknown>. If you continue to experience this problem please restart your machine".
This only started happening after I upgraded to a new mother board. I used to have a PII 333Mhz one, now I have a Celeron 500.
The main problem is that I can't retrieve files from my digital USB camera. I have 128mb ram and a PCI 32mB Graphics card and am running WIndows ME.
Can anyone help?

Did you do a clean install of ME when you changed the motherboard?

I reinstalled Windows over the top of the previous install.

If you have updated the Motherboard drivers etc then I suspect you will need to back up all your data then format and reinstall windows.
