Uninstalling OE 6

  Rhuddlan 00:19 04 Feb 04

I was reading about the option of reinstalling OE 6 in the latest edition of the XP mag and when I located to the file in Windows, I tried to install it and a message appeared saying that I need the Windows XP SP1 CD, but I don't have one, it says that I need these files from SP1 to reinstall OE 6, so instead could I use the SP1 files from the hard disk, as I have SP1 installed, the exact name of the file is MS0E50.INF and is located in the INF folder within the Windows folder, right click and select install, this folder is hidden, thanks for any help in advance.

To show hidden system files; Control Panel/Folder Options/View, and check 'show hidden files and folders' and uncheck 'hide protected operating system files'.
