i am trying to uninstall internet explorer 8 but it keeps coming up "setup cannot copy the file hmmppi, dll, mul" can anyone help please?

How are you trying to uninstall it?
As ie8 is a Vista update you have to go to view installed updates in the control panel>programmes and features. Then it will revert to ie7.

i do not have vista i have xp if i go to add/remove it should remove it back to ie 7 thats why i posted the problem

Sounds like your copy of ie7 may be corrupted.
Download the latest version of IE7 and try uninstalling IE8 again.

Maybe try resetting IE8 and see if that clears the problem.Tools.Internet Options.Advanced and press Reset. That resets I/E8 to its original state.

Right click anywhere on the Toolbar. And make sure menu bar is ticked.Or try through control panel.internet options.

IE8 does not display the Menu Bar by default.
