uninstall problem

Sons pc running xp home; while installing a program had a power cut, once restarted pc tried to continue or reinstall program but it tells me I have to uninstall the previous version 1st, the program, a game my son wants on, is in the start menu unfortunately there is no uninstall for it, going into add/remove it is not there, I have done an uninstall via rebooting before but cannot remember how, any body help please, thanks

tried that thanks but no help for some reason, I have done somthing before that results in rebooting to clear the files and cannot remember what it was

This may work for you.

Use the uninstaller from ccleaner click here

Use the registry cleaner to clean any redundant left over files from uninstalling.

It is a highly recommended program and is very reliable.
